The georgian hotel is a grade 2 listed building nestled in two acres of its own land; our beautiful country gardens are overlooked by a conservatory dining room. We welcome everyone from young families with pets to mature business travellers. Our kitchens can cater for everything from private meetings and conferences to weddings, christenings and funeral teas. For those lazy summer days, we encourage guests and diners alike to take advantage of the peaceful surroundings and enjoy the sun with a cool drink on the lawn.
We are a short walk from kendal's heart, and a shorter walk from the town's train station. The hotel has unique views across the rooftops of historic kendal and north towards shap fell.
